LIVELIHOOD & LIFESKILLS

Meljol aims at engaging the children & youth to acquire and enhance skills that will help them to achieve sustainable livelihoods, find entrepreneurial solutions, work together, co-create, and think critically for themselves as well as for the community. Combining 21st century skills and United Nations Sustainable Devlopmental Goals  (UN-SDG) provides a perfect opportunity for children & youth to develop critical thinking, problem solving, entrepreneurship and digital competences while working with real world issues.

1. Integrated Livelihood & Educational Program (I- LEAP):

The AI-LEAP program is based on MelJol’s 3 E approach (Education, Employability & Entrepreneurship). This program focuses on empowering children and youth to make informed decision about the 3 Es. It involves inputs on financial literacy, banking, digital education & leadership. The program is executed in both schools and communities. Meljol encourages the youth to continue formal education while opting for employment or entrepreneurship.

2. Aflatoun Women Leaders (AWL)

The Aflatoun Women Leader (AWL) program  focuses on financial independence & enterprise development of women from Rural, tribal & urban areas alike. The program engages women & girls in learning about Banking, saving, investments, insurances, loans, budgeting, planning. MelJol’s curriculum encourage them to use their creativity to become entrepreneurs and generate their own income. and  achieve their life goals.
